Compatibility with DPDK version above 20.05

Hi, thanks for the contribuition and this repo. I am trying to install it on a Debian 12 server, but I get some compile errors while installing DPDK.

Any chance openNetVM is going to work on (1) a VM with requirments according to DPDK v20.05 or (2) newer version of DPDK ?

We are in the process of porting ONVM to work with the latest version of DPDK v24. We hope to have this ready to share for testing in the next week or so.

If you have access to cloudlab.us (researchers world wide can create accounts and get access to free cloud resources), then that is the easiest way to run the platform using our premade profile.

Oh that's very good news! I do have access to Cloudlab, however for our specific use case we need to run some live experiments with internal campus traffic. I'll wait for the future release then, thank you so much
