This PR bumps elasticsearch version to 5.1.1. The code is ready for review (the code compiles and passes all unit tests).

Hi Siren team, we're looking to start playing with this branch and since it has been a month without accepting the pull request, is there a reason/call out for why we should not?

Thanks

Hey @jccq,

Will this new backend component be open source? Also, will it be considered a replacement for siren-join? Cheers!
