A while back i have noticed issue with the app not having great mobile app experinece, and have went to fully overhaul the way the mobile app is rendered and did separate shell page containers for mobile separate for desktop. This resulted in bottom nav bar for groups - not sure if this is the best ux approach, but sure it makes it better experience if you ask me.
