Translation: Add translation inside Sumatra

Is it possible to make translation visible inside Sumatra?
I think it is possible for Google translate, because i'm using plugins for translation 'in place' inside internet browsers for years. It would be much better to not need to open browser to translate, but showing it inside app.

I cannot use Google as it is restricted here as it is an INVASION tool but similar with translate any app the transmission of personal reading /writing behaviour is native to Windows and thus the apps need to go through your firewall etc.

For that reason, many see embedding google etc internally as a security breach.

I have a lot of problems with using embeded webview and it will easilly flop in and out of Edge but thats my choice to run sandboxed where there is no google ! and no local help system

Yes but the problem is: there are no free translation services that I know of.

What is the plugin you're showing? Which service is it using for translations?

I could provide integration with a local dictionaries, but those can only do single word translation.

Anything that actually does a translation via an api (not a website) is a paid service (I don't know any free ones).

It is using Google as i know and there are tons of them, but i dont know how its working.
Im using very old extension Google™ Translator by Andy Portmen.

As described the majority either require a full support system I detest but is common such as Python (pyMuPDF etc) or are DEMO for later subscription

Currently one possibility is https://github.com/dwain-barnes/local-translator but needs ollama etc and suggests permanent configuration !
of course it is GB of downloads and thus works on Windows 10+ not 7 +
