Description

This pull request updates the Chef InSpec release notes to document the 7.3.2 release. The update includes information about bug fixes in the oracledb_session resource and security-related package upgrades.

Release notes update for Chef InSpec 7.3.2:

Bug fixes:

  • Fixed oracledb_session to correctly parse query output for both sqlcl and sqlplus clients, addressing issues with banner messages and CSV formatting that previously broke result parsing.
  • Fixed oracledb_session to properly parse multi-column query results, resolving an issue where .column(name) returned nil for multi-column queries due to premature comma substitution and flattening logic.

Security fixes:

  • Upgraded the core/openssl Habitat package from version 3.5.7 to 3.5.8 for Linux x86, Windows x86, Linux ARM, and macOS ARM platforms.
  • Upgraded the core/curl Habitat package from version 8.21.0 to 8.22.0 for Linux x86, Linux ARM, and macOS ARM platforms.

Is there a reason to list these platforms?
Is this the full list of supported platforms for InSpec?

For InSpec 7.2, we don't list macos as a supported platform. Is that a new supported platform for this release?

Good point. So for 7.2 we did support macOs habitat package but we did not support MacOs native installer packages. The security fixes mentioned here are with respect to dependency update we made for these platforms using hab packages updates.
And your comment reminds me that we need to have a packaging section like this https://docs.chef.io/release_notes/inspec/#packaging for MacOs Native packages since we are releasing those with 7.3.1. @IanMadd let me know if you could cover those else I will add.
